EBONY IS MISSING

Sir Ebony Purrsalot

Sir Ebony Purrsalot has been missing from his home on The Triple C Ranch since September 17, 2011.

Ebony is a neutered male with long black fur, green eyes and long whiskers. He is a furry handsome, gentle cat with extremely good manners. He normally stays close to home during the day and spends the night indoors. The day he disappeared, he may have been hunting in a nearby pasture. We fear that he may have been attacked by coyotes or feral dogs. If that was the case, we can only hope and purr that he escaped and that he will return home soon.

Ebony was not wearing a collar, but all his vaccinations are up-to-date.  Our family appurrciates your purrs and positive thoughts fur Ebony's safe return.

Sincerely,

The Crowley Cats & Family

Sad Update:  Our worst fears were confirmed when Meowmie found Ebony's body in a nearby pasture.  We are too sad to write more now, but a memorial for Ebony will be added to our Candle Pages as soon as possible.

The D*g Days of Summer

This is as good a time as any to introduce our d*g, Chip.  Actually, he's our Paw's d*g ... but that's another story.   Yesterday, Paw took Chip to be bathed and groomed.  He also had a haircut and his claws were clipped.  Shortly after they got home, Chip destoyed the cute little bandana that the groomer tied around his neck.

This morning, Chip was outside and he began barking ferociously at a big tree in our yard.   Meowmie peered out a nearby window and said, "I think Chip has treed a little kitten."  But when she went to investigate, she discovered that  the "kitten" was a baby skunk!  Although her father once had a pet skunk, we do not intend to follow his example!

Although we've had an unusual amount of rain this year, it promises to be a furry hot summer.    We're all in good health and managing to maintain our cool during the d*g days!  We purr that  all our furriends are healthy and comfortable too!!!

Happy Summertime Purrs,

Bogey, Brindle, Clancy & Ebony
